Shopping For Jiayi's Present

Yay! Yesterday Last Friday, me and Ange went out shopping for Jiayi's birthday/Christmas prezzie. We only had a budget of $20, but I think we made the money worthwhile! In the end we got her a shirt, a crispy snack and this... interesting birthday card :) 

We met at the bugis station and guess what. I WAS EARLIER THAN ANGE. First time! *victory dance~* Be proud of me haha. I arrived 5 minutes early, and she surprisingly reached 12 minutes late. Yeah, I was counting (tsk). Anyways, we walked around for a while,

and this was just a random picture I took to start the day. Can you guess whether that person riding the bicycle is a guy or girl? ._.

This was a cool shop Ange wanted me to see. She actually wanted to show Rach this place (because Rach really likes this kind of collector's stuff), but I don't really know what happened, she didn't? (we were in a rush to SAFRA! Oh right.) Rach would like it there though, it's got

this Ironman statue thingy, which I find quite cool. Look at it's pose (ignore me)! Look closer, can you see the Christmas hat it's wearing? Such a festive Ironman :) 

Oh I found these cards really interesting! It's 3D pop-out cards that we saw, and I suggested getting one as Jiayi's birthday card, but then Ange saw the price and we walked away.

We went to this shop which sold cards and notebooks and funny stuff, and after looking through the birthday cards, Ange liked two.

This one (which I think is so true), and

this one (which we picked in the end).

Haha I know, totally weird and crude. But interesting right? ;)

So after getting that card, we walked around Bugis+ trying to search for something pretty or cute to gift. Couldn't find anything good enough though. We did go to Sephora, and Ange gleefully showed me the One Direction perfume. It's like, a nice subtle office kind of smell? I liked it.

Did you salivate? We went to grab that from J.Co. I haven't eaten froyo for quite a long time and, gosh it was so good! Absolutely worth the money.

While enjoying the delicious treat, we wrote a birthday message each on the card. We had a moment each when we're like "...what to say?". Well, the message I wrote was lame. Happy birthday, you're a great friend, wish you love and joy, blah blah blah. At least Ange made hers interesting with colours.

We continued on to bugis street and there, we finally found a nice shirt to give Jiayi! (don't have a pic of it sorry. Inagine a maroon sorta crop top with "vans off the wall" at the front~)

Then we travelled to Plaza sing, to go to Daiso for a good box to put the present and card in.

Look at how nicely decorated it is for X'mas :)

Okay, there's no picture of the pretty box we got, but

lookie (at my right arm). That's the snack we got at Daiso for Jiayi. It's nice, Ange and I tried it before. The paper bag held in the left hand was what we considered before Ange saw the pretty box.

I really don't know how to end this post, but yeah. That's it for our little shopping trip!
